Where do we begin with this one. Perhaps visually, as this label design is beautiful and almost warrants a try just because of the way it looks. But there is so much more to this IPA from Pirate Life. Another single hop series special from them allows Zappa Hops to take centre stage. The beer pours golden, with a solid head, which is courtesy of the simple pale malt and Carapils build.
What do Zappa hops do for the beer I hear you wondering... well, expect aromas of agave and apricot, with a subtle hint of a green pepper. While on the palate, an assertive bitterness, prickly pear, and a fine, crisp, resinous quality. All the good tasting notes of an IPA with a bite.
