3 FONTEINEN OUDE KRIEK
The Kriek lambic* is created by the soaking and breakdown of vast quantities of whole sour cherries in lambic beer, for four months. It is then blended again younger lambic to obtain a minimum intensity of 35% fruit. When complete it is bottled and stored to age for at least 5 months in oder for flavours to mature and refine.
With the Kriek Lambic, the flavours you're hoping to taste is a pleasant tartness, almond and cinnamon notes.
Thinking to age it a bit yourself? Why not. If you leave it over time to warm in its bottle, it will age exquisitely, though its bright red hue and forest fruit aromas may fade.
